Would you like to be a
Keynote-Orlando
Speaker?

If Keynote-Orlando is to succeed, it has to have a brand image. It has to stand for something, it has to have a persona. And that persona should be seen in each and every representative of the bureau.

You have a right to know what that persona is, before you join with us. That way, you'll be comfortable, and I'll be comfortable.

I'm taking the liberty of writing down what I expect of myself and the ones with whom I associate. I aim at hitting all of them, each and every day.
If you're on a similar quest, I'd like to do business with you.

If you look over the list and feel, in all honesty, that it's just not you, that's fine. Better to discover that now. Here goes.

1.

You are the mouthpiece of God. Moses, himself, would be impressed by your conviction and authority, because ----

You bring something new to the table - whether it's information, data, perspective or a new value system - get your audience to say "WOW! I never knew that."

You speak with surety. More than anything else, people want to know ---

a.
b.

"What's going to happen to me?", and
"What should I do about it?"

Audiences are drawn to a speaker who has the answers
- even when the answer is a bold "No one knows. Deal with it."

You've got missionary zeal. When you're on stage - your only reason for living is to sear your message into the consciousness of that particular audience. You do that, and Moses and I will be pleased as punch.

2.

You seduce your audienc
e.

  - Your audience has your undivided attention,
xx each and every time;
- you delight in their company, each and every time;
- you find their tempo and hope, each and every time; and
- you touch their tender spot, each and every time.

You know that it doesn't matter if your story makes you laugh or cry. The only thing that matters is how it affects them.

If you understand that it's about the audience, not about you ---
---
I'd like to help your career.

Mark Twain was the last celebrity.
The rest of us are working stiffs.

We are kind and gracious to one and all
xx- no matter how big, no matter how small.
We show up sober, on time and completely prepared.
We don't whine. We don't demand.
We contribute, like a pro.
If you are easy to work with, I would like to help your career.
If not, I'd like you to work with my chief competitor.

Lie Wisely. We only get one per relationship.
Let's not squander a scarce resource.
