Meeting Facilitation requires the skills of a drill instructor, choreographer and shrink. It differs from a seminar in that the audience provides the content. The facilitator primarily directs traffic.
Tom facilitates meetings on 3 different topics.

1. Facilitating Market Positioning

This strategy session is best accomplished in a corporate retreat setting. This can be associated with a strategic planning retreat or as a standalone meeting. The focus is to create market definition for your product or service. Using this market definition, the group will design programs that carry that position to the point of transaction with the customer.
Key Areas:

    • Market Analysis
    • Premium Customer Profile
    • Your Customer's Core Requirements
    • Fulfillment at the Point of Transaction
    • Making New Markets

2. Facilitating Strategic Planning
We have found Strategic Planning is best done in a corporate retreat setting. While the steps vary from company to company based on pre-retreat interviews, our strength is the ability to get maximum participation from attendees. The higher the level of participation, the higher the level of commitment to the strategies produced by this meeting. We recommend a two day format, however, significant progress can be made in a one-day session. Key Areas:

  • Strategic Issues
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Operational Analysis
  • Setting checkpoints (goals)
  • Accountability
  • Follow-up strategies

3. Facilitating Business Plans
This consulting service produces a business plan document which may be useful for:

  • Funding Purposes
  • Documenting Operations
  • Documenting Marketing Plans
  • Analyzing Competitive Edge in Market
  • Exit Strategies

Features of the plan document may include:

  • Non-disclosure agreements
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Operation Descriptions
  • Production Descriptions
  • Historical Financial Information
  • Financial Addendums
  • Executive Summary
  • Marketing Plan
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Capital Investment
  • Pro-forma Balance Sheet and Income Statements
  • Break-even Analysis
