Tom Foster is President of ComputerNET Corporation,
a consulting firm involved in the development of corporate strategy
specializing in technology tools. This includes website development
and internet solutions.
In
addition, Tom
is a popular instructor for the Dale Carnegie Institute and serves
as Chairman of The Executive Committee (TEC) in Ft. Lauderdale
Florida working closely with CEOs of firms valued over $xx million.
Where
does this Expertise come from?
- To begin
with, Tom is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin
with a Bachelor's degree in Radio-Television and a Master's
degree in Communication.
- Following
that, he spent sixteen years in the television industry producing
and directing television commercials, sports, industrial and
broadcast programs.
- The next
years saw Tom working with large CPA operations; supporting
client information and accounting systems.
- In 1992,
he created his first computer bulletin board system, (Rapid
Transit BBS), selling internet mailboxes to the public for $10
per year. ComputerNET Corporation was founded later that same
year.
Throughout
all these ventures, Tom paid attention. And the thing he discovered
is that there
is a process to life.
And a process to death, too. So Tom shifted his focus to helping
folks learn to see and use these processes in their careers and
personal lives.
Today,
Tom spends most of his time consulting with companies on issues
related to strategy and technology.
